Description

  • Own the DACH territory and drive end-to-end regional revenue growth.
  • Build and manage a predictable pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Identify friction points in the sales process and improve conversion and speed.
  • Translate DACH market trends and competitor activity into product and go-to-market feedback.
  • Develop deep institutional relationships with academic librarians and teaching faculty.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from outreach through signed contract.
  • Collaborate with founders and the broader team to strengthen the sales motion.
  • Contribute strategic insights that support roadmap and regional expansion decisions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a high-growth environment such as EdTech, SaaS, or STEM Publishing.
  • Native or full professional fluency in German.
  • Experience working in the DACH market and understanding its academic and corporate cultures.
  • Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Experience with outreach tools to automate routine sales work.
  • High-agency, proactive approach to prospecting and territory ownership.
  • Strategic mindset focused on ROI and long-term value.
  • Strong communication skills for both presentations and procurement negotiations.
  • Quiet, dedicated home office setup with a functioning webcam, noise-canceling USB headset, smartphone, and reliable internet/device requirements.
