Description

  • Work with analysts, data scientists, staff, and customers to define dashboard requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and multi-level dashboards in Tableau, Amazon QuickSight, and comparable tools.
  • Build proof-of-concept solutions and advanced BI visualizations for healthcare data projects.
  • Develop and automate end-to-end ETL solutions using dynamic SQL, file validation, staging-to-production pipelines, and large-scale datasets.
  • Architect and implement business rules in SQL to ensure accurate data transformation.
  • Lead data quality management by creating SQL-based validation frameworks and automated corrective actions.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation, including data maps, ETL workflow diagrams, and internal policies.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data gathering, database design, and data dissemination activities.
  • Oversee technical user acceptance testing to confirm data loads and outputs meet customer and budget requirements.
  • Manage project lifecycles and collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality data products on schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a quantitative discipline; master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience building visualization solutions using Tableau, Amazon QuickSight, and Power BI.
  • At least 3 years of experience with ETL processes in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
  • At least 3 years of data warehousing experience.
  • Experience gathering, refining, and documenting requirements through interviews with business users.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document business and technical requirements based on user interviews.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SSAS is preferred.
  • Experience working with healthcare data is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage several projects simultaneously across multiple teams.
