Description

  • Lead a product engineering pod and shape both the technical and people aspects of the team.
  • Guide engineering design, architecture, and implementation decisions for scalable and efficient systems.
  • Own critical projects end to end and ensure they deliver measurable business impact.
  • Partner with product managers to define problem statements and align engineering work with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining autonomy in decision-making.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain engineering talent.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance.
  • Mentor and grow engineers on the team.
  • Drive impactful product experiences for travelers across multiple markets.
  • Work on complex technical challenges in travel tech using modern systems and technologies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software development.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in system design, architecture, and backend/frontend development.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience building scalable distributed systems, microservices, and high-performance applications.
  • Experience with stakeholder management and project execution.
  • Experience collaborating with product teams to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Passion for mentoring engineers and building an inclusive, high-performing engineering culture.
