Description

  • Support AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP cloud services and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within specific cloud environments.
  • Implement cloud security best practices and maintain compliance-focused configurations.
  • Use Azure monitoring, logging, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Policy tools to strengthen security posture and compliance.
  • Write and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI and run them through Logic Apps, Azure Automation, or Azure Functions.
  • Configure network security groups, application gateways, and other network controls to protect cloud resources.
  • Manage cloud compute, storage, networking, and database services.
  • Collaborate across teams to solve complex technical challenges and apply security and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
  • 5-7 years of cloud computing experience with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ additional years of IT experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience designing and deploying cloud-based solutions and working with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodeStar, and Docker.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, or BICEP.
  • Familiarity with cloud template technologies including Azure Resource Manager, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, and architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
  • Experience automating workflows using PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, JSON, or Ansible.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification, such as Security+, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CND, CCNA Security, or ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
  • Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and with other cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite, especially JIRA and Confluence, is preferred.
  • Understanding of FIPS-199, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-53A, NIST SP 800-37, and the DoD Cloud Security Requirements Guide is preferred.
  • Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Solutions Expert in Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred.
