Description

  • Generate quotes, track opportunities, and process orders using Salesforce.com.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries.
  • Suggest pricing and payment solutions that balance customer needs with pricing policies.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, vendors, and outside sales executives.
  • Maintain relationships with key vendors and customers and develop product and industry knowledge.
  • Attend regional forecast calls and perform pipeline analysis to support forecast accuracy.
  • Coordinate with accounting and contracts teams to process and track orders.
  • Support new business and renewal business in a quota-bearing environment.
  • Assist the marketing team with planning and coordinating regional events, including vendor sponsorships, invitations, and venue arrangements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure customer deliverables.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer service or sales support role.
  • Background in the IT industry preferred.
  • Prior experience with CRM software required; Salesforce.com experience preferred.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office and internet navigation.
  • Technical sales/support and outbound calling experience preferred.
  • Strong math skills with the ability to calculate margins, discounts, and percentages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong prioritization, multitasking, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team, handle ambiguity, accept feedback, and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule required.
