Description

  • Proactively network, cold call, and prospect across multiple contacts within target organizations, including executive-level stakeholders.
  • Manage and develop customer relationships while delivering consultative account management.
  • Meet sales and profitability goals consistently.
  • Position, configure, and quote product and service solutions for clients.
  • Manage leads and opportunities in Salesforce and other CRM tools.
  • Accurately forecast sales and maintain opportunity pipeline reporting.
  • Create, edit, and close services proposals.
  • Work with vendors to understand technologies and communicate their value proposition to clients.
  • Support field marketing activities and events to generate prospect interest and attendance.
  • Set expectations and maintain open communication with clients and vendors throughout the sales cycle.
  • Leverage internal support resources collaboratively during the sales process.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations to large groups and executive audiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience in the IT space, preferably in information security.
  • Current experience in the enterprise security space preferred.
  • Strong, established relationships with key accounts in the territory required.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com required.
  • Strong group presentation skills required.
  • Verifiable history of exceeding sales goals and generating leads.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads and open new accounts.
  • Experience selling professional services, security audits, and assessments is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Network security vendor-related certifications strongly preferred.
  • Position is virtual/remote with regional travel required.
