Description

  • Own the sales strategy for transit agencies and federal fleets across the Midwest.
  • Build a self-generated pipeline through disciplined prospecting and high-impact Lunch & Learns.
  • Close large-scale infrastructure projects tied to EV charging and electrification.
  • Use TCO data and ROI modeling to communicate value to C-suite leaders and government officials.
  • Spend about 50% of time in the field conducting site visits and in-person relationship building.
  • Host Lunch & Learns to educate fleet operations teams and win support.
  • Collaborate with internal technical, legal, and policy teams on complex RFPs and grid stability requirements.
  • Use Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, and ZoomInfo to map the market and maintain a 180-day rolling forecast.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in fleet or enterprise sales with a consistent track record of exceeding quotas.
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution, grid stability, and state/local energy policy.
  • Comfort with cold calling and in-person prospecting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Fleet Managers, City Council members, and C-suite executives.
  • Experience working through long-cycle government procurement and legal/procurement hurdles.
  • Salesforce power user with data-driven territory planning skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, sales, or a related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, and ZoomInfo is required for the role's workflow.
  • Salary range for the role is $58,500 to $170,000 base, depending on factors such as experience, skills, certifications, and location.
