Description

  • Own the sales strategy for transit agencies and federal fleets across the Midwest.
  • Build a self-generated pipeline through disciplined prospecting and high-impact Lunch & Learns.
  • Close large-scale infrastructure projects tied to the electric transition.
  • Use TCO data and ROI modeling to present the value of ChargePoint solutions to executives and government officials.
  • Spend about 50% of the time in the field conducting site visits and in-person relationship building.
  • Partner with internal technical, legal, and policy teams to navigate complex RFPs and grid stability requirements.
  • Use Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, and ZoomInfo to map the market and maintain a 180-day rolling forecast.
  • Work with fleet operations teams, city officials, and C-suite stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in fleet or enterprise sales with a consistent record of exceeding quota.
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution, grid stability, and state/local energy policy.
  • Experience with cold calling and in-person prospecting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with fleet managers, city council members, and C-suite executives.
  • Salesforce power user with data-driven territory planning experience.
  • Ability to manage long-cycle government procurement and navigate legal and procurement hurdles.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, sales, or a related field.
  • Experience with federal, transit, or government sales is implied by the role focus.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Navigator and ZoomInfo is preferred.
  • Base salary range of $58,500 to $170,000, depending on experience, certifications, and location.
