Description

  • Set the strategy and roadmap for Greenhouse’s HR technology ecosystem, including implementations, integrations, configuration, user experience, improvement, and vendors.
  • Own the HRIS as the authoritative source for employee data, ensuring automation, governance, accuracy, adoption, and reliable connections to payroll, benefits, and analytics systems.
  • Improve employee lifecycle processes from offers and onboarding through promotions, leaves, and offboarding.
  • Build people analytics, dashboards, and self-service tools to support workforce decisions, retention, and information sharing.
  • Oversee People-related compliance, including immigration, leave administration, audits, labor requirements, privacy, and complex employee matters.
  • Lead AI and automation adoption across People processes, applying Greenhouse’s AI Principles Framework and sharing feedback with Product.
  • Test and scale new tools, workflows, and processes in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to People strategy as a People Leadership Team member and develop a high-performing team through prioritization, coaching, and performance management.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive People Operations experience, including 3+ years leading People Operations, HRIS, or People Systems teams at manager or director level.
  • Deep experience administering and optimizing global HRIS platforms such as Workday, Rippling, or HiBob.
  • Experience with HRIS implementations, integrations, automation, data integrity, reporting, payroll, and benefits systems.
  • Track record of scaling People processes with measurable improvements in efficiency, data quality, compliance, or employee experience.
  • Experience with cross-border employee data, reporting requirements, and workforce data privacy; global experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience evaluating, piloting, or implementing AI and automation in People Operations.
  • Strong project management, change leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in HR reporting, dashboards, self-service tools, and translating workforce data into leadership recommendations.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing, diverse teams while operating strategically and maintaining attention to operational details.
  • Current authorization to work full-time in the United States.
