Description

  • Identify and expand opportunities within a set of current customers.
  • Prospect, nurture, and close sales opportunities across Japan.
  • Manage the full sales process, including meetings, demos, proofs of concept, proposals, negotiations, and account management.
  • Cultivate pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Convey the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise to customers.
  • Manage forecasts and track customer data in Salesforce.
  • Handle quote creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests.
  • Support customers during the trial phase and hand off relationships to the Customer Success team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure technology sales.
  • Proven history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment, ideally as a top 10% performer.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • Strong communication skills across in-person, online, and written channels.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships both in person and virtually.
  • Located in Tokyo, Japan.
  • Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, and tenacious team-player mindset.
  • Adaptability and experience working in high-velocity technology companies.
  • Familiarity with open source technology is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is ideal.
