Description

  • Own the full sales cycle from cold outreach to close for new-logo acquisition in an assigned territory.
  • Expand existing accounts while driving net-new revenue in Mid-Market customers.
  • Drive adoption of Elastic’s AI-powered search, observability, and security solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by helping customers turn data into actionable insights.
  • Position Elastic using cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architecture conversations.
  • Develop business plans that leverage community, customer, and partner ecosystems to grow the territory.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage complex sales opportunities using frameworks such as MEDDPICC.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate deals.
  • Lead contract and pricing negotiations and maintain accurate CRM and forecast updates.
  • Build tailored value stories that connect Elastic’s capabilities to measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Success in SaaS subscription sales in Mid-Market accounts, with a history of overachievement.
  • A strong blend of technical curiosity and value-based selling ability.
  • A track record of acquiring new logos.
  • Ability to discuss technical topics including security, observability, vector and traditional search, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Experience crafting business-oriented narratives that link technology to revenue growth or risk mitigation.
  • Experience leading high-stakes contract and pricing negotiations.
  • Ability to establish credibility with both technical developers and executive leadership.
  • Consistent, predictable, and accurate sales forecasting skills.
  • Ability to create alignment across teams to move deals forward.
  • Enthusiasm for AI technologies and the open-source model.
