Description

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Prospect outbound into net-new customers and cultivate opportunities from inbound leads.
  • Manage the full sales process, including prospecting, meetings, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Understand customer needs and communicate the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise in a consultative sales approach.
  • Work with customers during the trial phase and hand off relationships to the Growth team.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and customer data in Salesforce.
  • Prepare quotes, process orders, and handle day-to-day customer requests.
  • Manage forecasts and track sales performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure technology sales.
  • A consistent record of exceeding goals in a highly competitive environment, ideally as a top 10% performer.
  • Experience working in high-velocity technology companies.
  • Strong communication skills across in-person, online, and written channels.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships both in person and virtually.
  • Familiarity with open source technology is a significant advantage.
  • Experience using Salesforce is preferred.
  • Experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is ideal.
  • A technical background and prior experience selling technical products are preferred.
