Description

  • Design and develop Spring Boot microservices for casino platform domains.
  • Implement promotional mechanics, including bonus crediting, wagering, expiry, and settlement.
  • Integrate third-party game providers and wallet bet, win, and refund callbacks.
  • Build and evolve secure, versioned REST APIs for internal services and external providers.
  • Ensure reliable money and bonus flows through idempotency, retries, timeouts, and graceful degradation.
  • Use Redis for caching and session state, and optimize service performance under production load.
  • Own observability through metrics, structured logging, dashboards, and alerting.
  • Write unit, integration, and functional tests using JUnit 5 and Testcontainers.
  • Deploy services through GitLab CI to Kubernetes and participate in code reviews and incident investigations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend development experience.
  • Strong commercial proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x, including Web, Security, Data, and Actuator.
  • Experience building business-critical domain logic involving payments, bonuses, billing, or similar money-related flows.
  • Experience integrating third-party REST APIs and designing REST APIs.
  • Understanding of distributed systems concepts including idempotency, consistency, timeouts, retries, and caching.
  • Experience with SQL and at least one NoSQL technology such as Redis, Cassandra, or Elasticsearch.
  • Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.
  • Scala experience, particularly with Play or Akka, preferred.
  • Experience with Kafka, event-driven architecture, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Prometheus, or Grafana preferred.
  • iGaming or betting domain experience preferred.
