Description

  • Design and develop low-latency, scalable RESTful API services in AWS.
  • Build secure multi-tenant environments and integrate external services through SDKs.
  • Develop and maintain PostgreSQL/AuroraDB solutions, including schemas, migrations, and row-level security.
  • Contribute to full-stack development, including React frontend work when needed.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD applications and delivery pipelines.
  • Implement integration testing with real databases and failure-mode or fault-injection testing.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality software on committed timelines.
  • Apply software development best practices and take ownership of deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional, backend-focused software development experience.
  • Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building low-latency AWS services and scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with SDK integrations and large, complex systems.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, raw SQL, schema migrations, and row-level security.
  • Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
  • Professional experience with React and broader full-stack development.
  • Strong testing practices, including real-database integration and fault-injection testing.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants in daily development and maintaining CI/CD systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree and availability to overlap US business hours.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, accountability, client focus, and adherence to best practices.
  • Preferred: experience with event-sourced or bitemporal data models, Fastify, Zod, AWS Fargate/ECS, or compliance-sensitive domains.
