Description

  • Design and develop high-quality backend services and scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Build low-latency API services and integrations with external platforms through SDKs.
  • Develop secure multi-tenant environments using PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and Row-Level Security.
  • Write raw SQL and manage database schema migrations.
  • Contribute to frontend development with React when needed.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD applications and workflows.
  • Implement strong testing practices, including integration, fault-injection, and failure-mode testing.
  • Collaborate with clients and delivery teams while taking ownership of project commitments and deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional, backend-focused software development experience.
  • Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building scalable RESTful APIs and low-latency services in AWS.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, Row-Level Security, raw SQL, and schema migration tools such as node-postgres or node-pg-migrate.
  • Experience with SDK integrations and secure multi-tenant environments.
  • Professional experience with React and full-stack development.
  • Experience working with large, complex systems and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong testing, problem-solving, attention to detail, and adherence to software best practices.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants in daily development.
  • Ability to overlap US business hours and a bachelor's degree.
  • Preferred: experience with event-sourced or bitemporal data models, Fastify, Zod, AWS Fargate/ECS, or compliance-sensitive domains.
