Description

  • Own the full sales cycle from qualified opportunity through to close.
  • Run strong discovery conversations to understand prospect goals, pain points, and commercial fit.
  • Deliver tailored demos and sales pitches to marketing, ecommerce, CRM, loyalty, and partnerships stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders across retail, e-commerce, marketing, and partnership teams.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and keep priority deals moving with pace and discipline.
  • Create some of your own pipeline through outbound activity, follow-up, and account research.
  • Work with the SDR to prioritise target accounts, shape messaging, and progress warm opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, deal plans, and forecasts that leadership can trust.
  • Use data, internal tools, automation, and AI-enabled workflows to prioritise and progress opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth handover of closed-won customers to Client Success with full context and expectations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a quota-carrying Account Executive or similar sales role.
  • Ability to sell strategically rather than relying on a generic demo or fixed pitch.
  • Experience managing a sales cycle with multiple stakeholders and clear commercial next steps.
  • Confidence explaining and negotiating commercial terms, including SaaS and performance-based models.
  • Strong CRM hygiene and pipeline discipline, including the ability to create, progress, and prioritise opportunities.
  • Curiosity around sales tooling, data, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.
  • A bias toward action and ownership, with consistent follow-up and momentum.
  • Comfort creating some of your own pipeline rather than relying only on inbound or SDR support.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, lightly structured startup environment.
  • Comfort working US-market hours up to 3 days per week, typically 12:30pm-8pm UK time.
  • Knowledge of retail, e-commerce, affiliate marketing, partnership-led models, or related technology is a bonus.
  • Experience selling into the US market is a bonus.
