Description

  • Build pipeline directly and in partnership with inside sales, SDRs, marketing, and channel partners.
  • Guide prospects through discovery, demos, qualification, negotiation, and deal-close.
  • Manage prospective accounts throughout the sales cycle and into expansion opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and influencers at target accounts.
  • Develop account and territory strategies to advance prospects through the pipeline.
  • Tailor sales engagements to customer needs and pain points to deliver value.
  • Present Amperon at U.S. energy conferences and industry events.
  • Collaborate with Markets and Technical Services to scope, onboard, and deploy customer projects.
  • Partner with Customer Success to support customers over the long term.
  • Use HubSpot, Gong, and other revenue operations tools to track activity and improve productivity.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Houston, TX.
  • 3+ years of experience in the U.S. electricity/power sector.
  • Proven knowledge of U.S. power markets, grid operations, and/or energy trading.
  • Experience with energy data, forecasting, or analytics solutions is strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience.
  • Experience with average deal sizes of US$25,000–100,000.
  • Experience selling data and/or technical solutions to utilities, independent power producers, electricity suppliers, load-serving entities, or market operators.
  • Track record of managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of deregulated and regulated energy markets across the U.S.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with technical and executive audiences.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing company.
  • Familiarity with the MEDDPICC framework, or willingness to learn and apply it.
