Description

  • Manage end-to-end technical delivery for program launches, including scoping, requirements, configuration, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and closeout.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Product, Research, Engineering, and Data teams to align systems with program objectives and field conditions.
  • Debug and resolve issues across the technology stack, including recipient databases and offline survey applications.
  • Scope and manage systems improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, and recipient experience.
  • Ensure technology systems meet data protection, privacy, and financial control standards.
  • Manage technical training and onboarding for operations staff and collaborators.
  • Lead retrospectives on program launches and technical incidents to drive ongoing improvements.
  • Analyze, structure, and communicate program data to support operational decisions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in project management, product management, data analytics, international development, management consulting, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong data skills, including extracting, cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing data for operational decisions.
  • Strong project management experience managing timelines, stakeholders, and complex deliverables.
  • Advanced comfort with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Intermediate experience with a programming or scripting language, commonly Python, for workflow automation, data validation, or business logic.
  • Interest in technology, systems design, and building operational solutions.
  • Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to validate data rigorously.
  • Structured problem-solving skills focused on identifying and resolving root causes.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders across diverse cultures.
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL preferred.
  • Ability to overlap with the East Africa timezone for three hours daily and travel approximately 1–2 times per year.

Benefits

  • Associate base salary: US $92,400 or Kenya $52,400; Manager base salary: US $107,070 or Kenya $72,550.
  • 10% target bonus.
  • Benefits stipends of US $21,393 or Kenya $8,454, with location-specific details available for other countries.
