Description

  • Manage and support GitLab’s major accounts and strategic customer portfolio.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process by coordinating Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, Professional Services, Marketing, Executives, Partners, and Channel teams.
  • Use solution selling to identify business potential and build long-term customer partnerships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer performance metrics, business strategies, and goals.
  • Conduct prospecting and develop opportunities in major accounts and net-new enterprise targets.
  • Create account plans, formal quotes, written proposals, and sales presentations based on customer needs.
  • Ensure successful rollout and adoption of GitLab products through strong account management and cross-functional coordination.
  • Support pre-sales and post-sales activities to advance customer adoption and expansion.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis for wins and losses and share lessons learned with internal teams.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by feeding feedback and product ideas into GitLab’s public issue tracker.

Requirements

  • Experience selling into highly complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated consistent results and overachievement of quota.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including comfort presenting to C-level executives.
  • Experience with solutions selling and positioning value based on customer needs.
  • Deep understanding of Git, software development tools, and application lifecycle management.
  • Alignment with GitLab’s values and willingness to work in accordance with them.
  • Ability to use GitLab.
  • Ability to travel if needed and comply with the company’s travel policy.
