Description

  • Build integrations between internal systems such as ERP, CRM, and PIM and external partners, government bodies, and compliance agencies.
  • Design and maintain secure REST APIs and event-driven components using Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hub, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
  • Define API contracts using a Swagger spec-first approach before implementation begins.
  • Embed security into every stage of the integration lifecycle, from design through production.
  • Instrument code with structured logging, distributed tracing, and Application Insights to improve observability.
  • Contribute to feature analysis, design, and effort estimation.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and participate in cross-team code reviews.
  • Own mission-critical integrations across customers, partners, and compliance agencies.
  • Develop and maintain fault-tolerant, scalable solutions across multiple platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of cloud software development experience with a consistent focus on API design and system integration.
  • Strong C# and .NET skills, including full-stack, object-oriented, and functional programming approaches.
  • Experience building fault-tolerant, scalable products across platforms.
  • Proven experience integrating third-party, partner, or government/compliance APIs.
  • Experience working across the full SDLC, including design, security, development, and maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with an agile mindset.
  • Cloud platform experience, with Azure preferred and AWS or GCP accepted.
  • Database knowledge, including relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with REST API design and development, event-driven architecture, Swagger, and event-driven messaging.
  • Preferred experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Event Hub.
  • Preferred experience with Kanban or Agile methodologies.
  • Preferred experience with microservices and distributed architectures.
  • Preferred experience with EDI/B2B integration using X12 or EDIFACT transaction sets.
  • Preferred awareness of Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Dataverse APIs.
  • Preferred experience onboarding partner or government compliance APIs.
