Description

  • Oversee and implement APAC commercial strategies, including sales planning, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Lead APAC business development activities and track Sales KPIs to drive market growth.
  • Target and develop new business opportunities with existing and new customers and partners.
  • Design solutions and business approaches aligned with customer needs using Genetec product and offering guidance.
  • Communicate and coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure project quality and timeliness across the commercial cycle.
  • Manage responses to calls for tenders in collaboration with internal stakeholders and regional collaborators.
  • Supervise, manage and support APAC sales teams, including talent acquisition, development and performance management.
  • Foster strong loyalty with existing customers and partners and develop lasting business partnerships across the APAC ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with partners, integrators, distributors and technology solution providers while applying commercial governance to carry Genetec’s offers in competitive markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science, Engineering or equivalent (MBA is a plus).
  • 10+ years leading sales teams, preferably in a software/technology environment.
  • Proven experience creating and implementing successful commercial strategies to generate demand.
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills with the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Outstanding project management skills and ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in parallel.
  • Strong people management capabilities, including hiring, developing, motivating and coaching high-performance teams.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, independent and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Business-standard English required; additional Asian languages are an asset.
