Description

  • Identify and recruit new partner accounts based on territory and vertical strategy needs.
  • Build strong partner relationships to drive brand preference, commitment, and project wins within the first 18 months of partnership.
  • Facilitate onboarding activities, including establishing credit accounts and executing Channel Partner Agreements.
  • Deliver commercial training, manage partner learning paths, and coordinate technical certification and enablement.
  • Own business planning, stakeholder mapping, forecasting, and quarterly business reviews to support profitable growth.
  • Track partner performance metrics, provide feedback, and develop action plans for partners needing additional support.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the product portfolio and channel partner programs, including product demonstrations and education on differentiators.
  • Manage sales pipeline activity, support partner-led sales growth, and ensure all sales activity is tracked in CRM.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues, align strategies, and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Attend industry events and travel to partner sites to represent Genetec and strengthen relationships.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in channel sales or partner management, ideally in the software or technology industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Proven track record in partner management, sales growth, and customer service.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in forecasting, business planning, and performance management.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into business value for partners.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for partner meetings, conferences, and industry events.
  • Adaptability to navigate different partner needs and pivot strategies as necessary.
  • Negotiation, influence, accountability, and results-oriented mindset are important attributes.
