Description

  • Deliver technical presentations and live demonstrations of GBG’s identity, fraud, and verification solutions.
  • Lead the technical portions of bids, RFPs, and proposals.
  • Work with sales, product, and technical teams to align solutions with customer requirements.
  • Address client concerns related to product integration, configuration, and customization.
  • Support the full presales lifecycle with solution design and customer-facing technical guidance.
  • Stay current on product updates, releases, and industry trends to advise customers and the sales team.
  • Develop deep expertise in GBG’s product suite and serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Travel for customer visits, team collaboration, and stakeholder meetings as needed, up to 40%.

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solution Engineering, Technical Support, Implementation, or IT Operations.
  • Programming familiarity in at least one language, such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#.
  • Ability to read code, understand logic, and assist with simple troubleshooting.
  • Foundational understanding of APIs, including RESTful services and endpoint testing with tools like Postman.
  • General knowledge of SaaS platforms, cloud applications, and modern web technologies.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to gather requirements and translate them into next steps.
  • Experience supporting customers through technical onboarding, demos, training, or solution walkthroughs.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer conversations and follow-up items.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings, give presentations, and articulate value.
  • Experience with API integrations, SDKs, or basic scripting is preferred.
  • Exposure to identity verification, fraud prevention, or security-focused technologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot is preferred.
  • Awareness of consultative selling methods such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or SPIN is preferred.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across Sales, Product, Engineering, or Customer Success is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of cloud concepts such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and general security best practices is preferred.
