Description

  • Lead forward-deployed customer engagements across APAC from scoping through production deployment.
  • Serve as the regional technical lead and escalation point for complex platform and Kubernetes issues.
  • Work directly with enterprise customers to answer technical questions and unblock adoption.
  • Design and deliver improvements to Kubernetes deployment patterns and contribute changes upstream.
  • Define reusable reference architectures and deployment standards for the region.
  • Mentor engineers through design reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
  • Shape how forward-deployed work operates in APAC and where it hands off to applied AI engineering.
  • Establish AI-assisted practices and tooling for the team.
  • Bring field learnings and regional customer requirements into design reviews and roadmap discussions.

Requirements

  • Must live and work in Singapore and be legally authorized to work in Singapore.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals with production coding, design, and testing judgment.
  • Extensive experience as a senior or lead engineer in enterprise customer engagements.
  • Proven technical leadership through direction, mentorship, and engineering stewardship.
  • Deep Kubernetes expertise, including cluster architecture, networking, storage, RBAC, permissions, operators, CRDs, Go controllers, Helm, and GitOps with Flux or ArgoCD.
  • Strong observability skills with metrics, logs, traces, and production debugging using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or Grafana.
  • Hands-on experience building or running MCP servers or AI agent tooling, ideally in production.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-directed, hands-on startup mentality with strong ownership.
  • Active user of AI coding assistants and agentic workflows to accelerate delivery (preferred).
