Description

  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for Verkada’s full suite of products throughout the sales process.
  • Partner with territory account executives to expand Verkada’s presence into Fortune 500 and other enterprise customers.
  • Present Verkada solutions to stakeholders ranging from C-level executives to IT directors and loss prevention managers.
  • Overcome technical objections and help secure technical wins during the sales cycle.
  • Assist customers in designing deployments with Verkada products.
  • Provide technical support to territory account representatives and internal teams.
  • Train and educate partners, customers, and employees on Verkada product offerings.
  • Travel regularly, including domestic and international travel, to support customer and partner engagements and team collaboration.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer.
  • Proven track record working with Fortune 500 companies.
  • Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or security field from an accredited university.
  • Strong background in networking, including HTTPS, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, DHCP, and firewalls.
  • Must be independently authorized to work in Canada; sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Industry certifications such as AWS, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Security+, A+, Network+, Microsoft Azure, CISSP, or CSP are a bonus.
  • Experience with Active Directory, SAML/SCIM, APIs, Python, or other coding languages is a plus.
  • Startup experience is preferred.
  • Comfort with frequent travel of more than 50% of the time, including domestic and international destinations.

  • Estimated annual on-target earnings of CAD $192,000 to $225,000.
