Description

  • Design, build, and deliver sophisticated full-stack web applications for real-world business solutions.
  • Collaborate with a high-performing engineering team to develop scalable, high-performance systems.
  • Lead and mentor engineers while contributing to a strong team-oriented culture.
  • Build backend services and APIs using modern cloud and microservices patterns.
  • Develop React-based frontend experiences for web applications.
  • Design and work with relational, in-memory, and NoSQL data systems.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and follow secure coding practices.
  • Support architecture decisions for large-scale, high-volume applications.
  • Contribute to platform features that stream personalized content and data-driven experiences.
  • Troubleshoot and tune application performance and reliability.

Requirements

  • Must reside in Latin America and have work authorization there.
  • Must have significant overlap with Mountain Standard Time (MST).
  • 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring a team of engineers.
  • 5+ years of experience as a backend software engineer using TypeScript, Python, or Golang as a primary language.
  • 3+ years of experience working with React-based frontends such as React, Next.js, TanStack, or Remix.
  • Experience with architectural patterns for large, high-scale web applications in cloud environments.
  • Experience working in a microservices architecture with strong API design, messaging, and event handling.
  • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, or Redshift, plus Redis/Memcached and NoSQL systems such as MongoDB, CouchDB, or DynamoDB.
  • Experience building DevOps CI/CD pipelines from GitHub and applying secure coding practices such as OWASP and SANS.
  • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda/SAM, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, RDS, Airflow, Glue, and S3.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform; CDK/SAM or Pulumi also accepted.
  • Strong Golang experience preferred.
  • Strong Python and TypeScript experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with React and Next.js preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and mentorship skills.
