Description

  • Design and maintain reusable quality tooling and services for engineering teams.
  • Build and evolve end-to-end test frameworks from scratch.
  • Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
  • Work with mocking and service virtualization tools.
  • Conduct research and proof-of-concept work to validate technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with product and QA teams to improve test infrastructure.
  • Build analytics and observability for test quality and stability.
  • Support services, utilities, and applications related to quality control.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation and quality tooling development.
  • Strong developer background.
  • JavaScript/TypeScript at Middle+ level.
  • Understanding of backend architecture and ability to build services using NestJS.
  • Understanding of React architecture and component lifecycle.
  • Experience building E2E frameworks from scratch.
  • Hands-on experience with Jest or Mocha and Playwright or Puppeteer.
  • Experience with mocking and service virtualization tools such as Sinon, Nock, MockServer, or mountebank.
  • Docker experience, including images, networks, volumes, and docker-compose.
  • Jenkins pipeline development experience.
  • Understanding of CI/CD best practices for automated testing.
  • Basic understanding of MongoDB and NoSQL principles.
  • Architectural understanding of Kafka, Redis, and ClickHouse.
  • Ability to build production-ready tooling rather than one-off scripts.
  • Platform thinking and ability to create reusable solutions for multiple teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take technical ownership.
  • Contract testing experience with PACT or similar (preferred).
  • Quality analytics experience with ClickHouse or Grafana (preferred).
  • Experience reducing flaky tests and optimizing CI (preferred).
  • Building quality metrics and test observability (preferred).
  • R&D and proof-of-concept experience (preferred).
  • Experience with AI tools (preferred).
  • Additional programming languages (preferred).
