Description

  • Develop and execute test cases covering functional, exploratory, regression, and basic performance testing.
  • Perform API testing for REST and GraphQL endpoints using existing frameworks.
  • Write and maintain BDD test scenarios in Gherkin syntax.
  • Support test automation efforts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Maintain test data fixtures for APIs to support integration and regression testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with developers on root-cause analysis and resolution.
  • Verify that software functionality aligns with business rules and requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience writing and maintaining BDD scenarios using Gherkin syntax.
  • Experience with REST API testing and basic automation.
  • Solid understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies.
  • Ability to create clear test documentation and reports.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with .NET applications and the Microsoft technology stack is preferred.
  • Exposure to GraphQL or gRPC is preferred.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of performance testing concepts is preferred.
  • Awareness of security testing fundamentals is preferred.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes is preferred.
  • Basic SQL knowledge for data validation is preferred.
