Description

  • Design, build, and maintain resilient frontend and backend features using React and Node.js.
  • Develop core product experiences such as donation checkouts, embeddable widgets, and donor/partner portals.
  • Architect system components that can scale across millions of monthly transactions.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly testable code.
  • Lead architecture and technical design discussions to solve complex problems elegantly.
  • Mentor peers through code reviews and constructive feedback.
  • Partner with product managers and designers to clarify requirements and shape the roadmap.
  • Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
  • Use AI tools as a regular part of day-to-day development work and adapt workflows as the tools evolve.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional fullstack development experience.
  • Deep understanding of modern JavaScript, including the event loop, closures, promises, and prototypes.
  • Expert-level proficiency with React and its ecosystem; familiarity with Vue is a plus.
  • Strong backend expertise with Node.js; experience with Koa or NestJS is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Webpack configuration, performance optimization, and profiling.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience with MongoDB, ClickHouse, or Elasticsearch is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud infrastructure is a plus.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio are preferred.
  • Already using AI meaningfully in your work and understanding where it adds value.
