Description

  • Deliver live online training sessions on Cloud Computing, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering concepts.
  • Teach cloud platforms and related infrastructure, deployment, and management topics across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations, labs, guided project support, and real-world deployment scenarios.
  • Facilitate practical exercises, assignments, assessments, and feedback sessions.
  • Mentor learners and answer technical and conceptual questions during live sessions and office hours.
  • Maintain session quality, learner engagement, and accurate documentation of student progress and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on curriculum updates and technical content refinement.
  • Support student improvement plans, certification readiness, and escalation of learner concerns when needed.
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful, and professional learning environment and represent the organization professionally.
  • Work with instructional staff and program teams to improve the learner experience and program outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in Cloud Computing, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
  • Hands-on expertise with one or more major cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, monitoring and observability, and container orchestration concepts.
  • Practical experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git/GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Prometheus/Grafana.
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, microservices architecture, and serverless computing.
  • Familiarity with cloud security and compliance best practices.
  • Prior experience delivering online or classroom training preferred.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Cloud or DevOps certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/DevOps Engineer, or Google Professional Cloud Architect preferred.
  • Experience in enterprise cloud migration or DevOps transformation initiatives preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps practices preferred.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipeline optimization and automation frameworks preferred.
  • Experience mentoring engineers or technical learners preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States throughout employment.
  • Availability for evening and weekend part-time sessions, with flexibility for live online teaching hours.

Benefits

  • $55–$60 per hour compensation, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Part-time, non-exempt role with pay for all hours worked in accordance with wage and hour laws.
