Description

  • Own and manage a territory in one of FMX’s target markets, including Public Sector or Commercial accounts.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients and assess their challenges to determine how FMX can help.
  • Guide prospects through the buyer’s journey and sales funnel from discovery through close.
  • Prepare and deliver platform demonstrations, negotiate contracts, and align key stakeholders on implementation expectations.
  • Use Salesforce, Gong, and other tools in the FMX tech stack to manage opportunities and track pipeline activity.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets for new business, meetings held, and ARR closed.
  • Collaborate closely with SDRs on prospect notes, meeting coordination, and agenda topics.
  • Participate in strategic weekly sales and training meetings and contribute to team goals.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline and opportunity data.
  • Pursue self-improvement and support continuous improvement across the sales team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a selling role.
  • Experience in a closing role is required.
  • Experience selling into K-12 education, higher education, or state and local government is preferred.
  • Experience working in a remote sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, task management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM and/or sales engagement platforms.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and remain highly coachable.
  • Self-motivation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Sandler, Challenger Selling, SPIN Selling, or Solution Selling is preferred.
  • Willingness to complete a background check prior to onboarding.
  • Ability to work onsite in FMX’s Columbus, OH office during the first week of onboarding.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $70,000-$90,000.
  • Uncapped commission plan with on-target earnings of $155,000-$175,000.
