Description

  • Own or support core HR processes to ensure a consistent employee experience.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for employee questions and route issues to the right person.
  • Support the rollout of people programs and HR initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle events including onboarding, benefits administration, and offboarding.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and 401(k) contributions accurately and on time.
  • Assist with performance review cycles and other recurring people programs.
  • Support compliance tasks including I-9s, state registrations, and leave paperwork.
  • Stay flexible and support additional HR projects as the team grows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an HR or People Ops role.
  • Solid working knowledge of the HR lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance basics, and employee support.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort handling sensitive, confidential information.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple recurring processes and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable following established processes and escalating judgment calls to senior team members when needed.
  • A proactive, "no task too small" mindset with interest in learning and growing in People Ops.
  • Experience supporting a distributed or remote workforce (preferred).
