Description

  • Manage and grow the sales team—initially a small group (1 Account Executive + 2 new hires) with a roadmap to scale to ~5 Account Executives across Canada, the USA, and Europe.
  • Own and manage the full sales cycle for inbound and outbound opportunities, from lead generation to close.
  • Personally handle and close large, complex deals with a focus on multi-location fitness chains and enterprise customers.
  • Develop and execute strategies to dramatically increase revenue (target: quadruple revenue in 18 months) by optimizing pipeline and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Growth Officer to refine and execute the go-to-market strategy, balancing inbound and outbound tactics.
  • Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop new sales talent to build a high-performance, goal-oriented sales culture.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with customer acquisition efforts and product development.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, monitor KPIs, and deliver insights on deal flow, pipeline health, and team performance.
  • Evaluate and potentially oversee strategic partnerships to drive additional revenue streams and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of full sales cycle experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, including both inbound lead management and outbound prospecting.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or management role, ideally at a seed or Series A startup.
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals, particularly with fitness, wellness, sports, or health-tech customers.
  • Experience managing and optimizing both inbound and outbound sales pipelines to improve lead conversion and deal velocity.
  • Experience building and executing a sales strategy from scratch, including team scaling and process improvements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with experience managing relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
  • Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach and passion for building a business from the ground up.
  • Bonus: Bilingual in French and English.
  • Bonus: Experience in fitness tech or health SaaS and interest or experience leveraging AI and automation for scalable sales processes.
