Description

  • Develop strategic account business plans for assigned target accounts within the business unit.
  • Prospect to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Identify and secure opportunities in prototyping, ramp, production, and long-term manufacturing contracts.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Maintain accurate account and opportunity forecasts in Salesforce.com.
  • Lead and manage customer contract negotiations.
  • Build long-term relationships with key customer decision makers across multiple organizational levels.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Coordinate with internal team members to support customer success and account growth.
  • Become an expert in each account’s product development needs, plans, and challenges.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record in remote selling, account planning, and pipeline development.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly build a new pipeline and manage forecasts to consistently exceed quota.
  • Experience using modern sales tools, including CRM, sequencing, prospecting, and collaboration tools.
  • Eligibility to work remotely in one of the listed U.S. states.
  • Experience with customer-facing strategic sales in a manufacturing or technical environment is a plus.
