Description

  • Make regular sales calls to accounts in the assigned area and maintain contact by phone, Zoom, and email between visits.
  • Achieve budgeted sales targets for the allocated sales area.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and potential new clients.
  • Manage visual merchandising and product representation in-store and online in line with company requirements and regulations.
  • Support retail account staff by developing product knowledge and delivering training through Academy resources and in-store visits.
  • Manage dealer stock and open orders to maintain correct stock levels, launch new products, and implement exit strategies for discontinued products.
  • Monitor dealer accounts for promotions and rebate schemes and ensure terms and conditions are followed.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge across the relevant product lines being sold.
  • Own the end-to-end relationship between dealers and the Fender business, including communications with internal departments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales environment.
  • Knowledge of the musical instrument industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and remain self-motivated.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Multilingual ability in French, Spanish, or Portuguese is ideal.
  • Experience in a field sales role is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet organisational needs is preferred.
  • Knowledge of FMIC product lines is preferred.
