Description

  • Build and maintain relationships with owner-operators, investment bankers, and large corporations.
  • Conduct early-stage discussions with business owners and senior executives to assess strategic fit and deal probability.
  • Independently lead M&A transactions from origination through closing.
  • Drive multiple live transactions simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure efficient transaction execution.
  • Prepare and negotiate indicative offers and Letters of Intent (LOIs).
  • Lead negotiations with counterparties in a fast-moving deal environment.
  • Manage and mentor analysts and associates.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and execution excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, corporate development, investment banking, or private equity.
  • At least 3 years of experience focused on software M&A.
  • Demonstrated expertise executing M&A transactions with a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation experience.
  • Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in relationship management and transaction-related writing.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and execution-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet aggressive deadlines, and adapt to variable hours.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support transaction execution.

  • Estimated compensation range of $100,000-$150,000 USD annually.
