Description

  • Produce analysis reports and diagnostic models to uncover relationships and patterns in business data and metrics.
  • Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Gather, clean, preprocess, and engineer data from multiple sources to improve dataset quality and usefulness.
  • Build and deploy end-to-end data pipelines on cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Work with teammates and stakeholders to communicate insights and support decision-making.
  • Create and maintain visualizations and reporting outputs that clearly explain historical and predictive findings.
  • Review code for correctness, bias, readability, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to generative modeling efforts using open-source and paid technologies.
  • Stay current on developments in data science, machine learning, and reporting technologies and apply them when appropriate.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to support team growth and development.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a data science or machine learning role.
  • Experience with business efficiency metrics such as CAC, RAC, retention, margin, ARR, LTV, and engagement.
  • Experience with at least one dashboarding tool such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio, Streamlit, or Dash.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling techniques including regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis, and optimization.
  • Proficiency with end-to-end pipelines.
  • Expert knowledge of model evaluation metrics.
  • Experience pulling data from third-party systems and APIs.
  • Proficiency with version control.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with data visualization in Python.
  • Familiarity with best practices in secure data handling and customer data privacy.
  • Prior experience in the financial planning industry is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the consumer technology industry is preferred.
  • Prior experience using containers to produce repeatable and shareable code is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Natural Language Processing is preferred.
  • Prior experience with cloud deployment is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Neural Networks and/or LLMs is preferred.
