Description

  • Own technical solutions from customer and business requirements through production delivery.
  • Design, build, test, deploy, and support scalable backend services, APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and full-stack applications.
  • Develop AI-powered features, agents, agentic workflows, LLM integrations, RAG systems, semantic search, and intelligent automation.
  • Make architectural and implementation decisions while balancing delivery speed, quality, security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Quality Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, and other stakeholders on discovery, design, estimation, and delivery.
  • Improve performance, observability, developer experience, engineering standards, automation, and reusable development patterns.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, production support, incident response, root-cause analysis, and technical-debt reduction.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and influence technical direction across projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Extensive experience building scalable production backend systems and strong full-stack applications.
  • Experience designing RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and serverless applications.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, plus Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and observability tools.
  • Experience with modern databases, caching, and messaging technologies, including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
  • Proficiency in one or more of TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#, plus React or another modern frontend framework and Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications, agents, agentic workflows, LLM integrations, prompt engineering, tool calling, orchestration, evaluation, and AI-assisted development.
  • Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, MCP, LangChain, vector databases, or similar technologies is preferred.
  • Strong architecture, problem-solving, communication, ownership, independent decision-making, adaptability, mentoring, and customer-focused leadership skills.
