Description

  • Own short-term and long-term goals for channel partners in the region and support the creation of partner account plans.
  • Lead the territory channel development plan by mapping tiered partners to opportunities and identifying gaps, new partners, and recruitment needs.
  • Coordinate with channel marketing, channel sales engineering, channel operations, and other internal resources as needed.
  • Engage partner teams in planning and secure their commitment to account plans, activities, and investments.
  • Track major partner activities and sales opportunities in CRM (SFDC).
  • Maintain day-to-day visibility, responsiveness, and relationship building within assigned partner accounts.
  • Advocate for partners internally and improve their visibility and perception within Extreme's sales organization.
  • Manage communication follow-through with partner executives and sales teams through the last-mile communication plan.
  • Drive rules of engagement between channel partners and internal teams such as inside sales, account executives, and system engineers.
  • Assist with escalations and operational issues, including RMAs, part numbers, sales tools, development funds, and order operations.
  • Facilitate regular partner sales updates and training sessions on Extreme solutions, product launches, and sales strategies.
  • Host recurring conference calls to review products, programs, training, marketing activities, and partner concerns.

Requirements

  • Reseller or channel sales experience.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of partner go-to-market models and economics.
  • Ability to interpret income statements and assess partners' fiscal health.
  • Understanding of partner success criteria and how to align Extreme's business with partner priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • OTE based on qualifications and experience with a 50/50 split.
  • Compensation range of $90K CAD to $120K CAD.
  • Experience working with CRM tools such as SFDC (preferred based on role responsibilities).
