Description

  • Prospect and develop new business relationships with existing customers and prospects in the assigned territory.
  • Use solutions-selling expertise to capture new business and grow the existing install base.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend products and services that deliver effective solutions.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quota targets and execute corporate initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain business planning, forecasting, pipeline, and reporting activities.
  • Build strong relationships with channel partners and cross-functional teams focused on SLED accounts.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of networking, management, and security solutions to prospective buyers.
  • Make cold calls and proactively reach out to prospects and existing customers.
  • Stay current on company offerings, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop mutually beneficial relationships that support revenue and profit growth in the territory.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with high energy, drive, and the ability to work with limited direction.
  • Knowledge of SFDC and Clari.
  • Relevant industry and competitive knowledge.
  • Ability to travel each week to meet with customers and partners.
  • Proven hunter with a track record of developing new prospects and exceeding quotas.
  • Strong business planning and forecasting experience.
  • Strong competitive and product knowledge with the ability to articulate Extreme Networks’ business value proposition.
  • Experience working across cross-functional internal teams.
  • Experience with SLED accounts and the E-rate funding and sales process.
  • OTE of $200,000 to $275,000 on a 50/50 split, based on region, qualifications, and experience.
