Description

  • Provide industry insight and business creativity to design and develop unique use cases and solutions for financial services customers.
  • Co-develop account business plans with internal teams and ecosystem partners to accelerate customer success and win new opportunities.
  • Exceed quarterly and annual usage and booking goals for assigned accounts.
  • Motivate and coordinate a diverse team of big data and AI professionals to execute the business plan.
  • Lead customers and partners in identifying impactful big data and AI use cases and proving value on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
  • Support customers’ broader big data and AI transformation goals through strategic partnerships, professional services, training, and executive engagement.
  • Build strong value in customer engagements and guide negotiations through to close.

Requirements

  • Experience in direct sales of enterprise software platforms to large financial services enterprises.
  • Ownership of executive-level relationships with clients.
  • Proven track record of developing new business.
  • Extensive experience working with large, complex, regulated organizations.
  • Knowledge of the data and AI space with technology sales experience.
  • Longevity with previous employers.
  • Proven ability to overachieve quota selling complex software and services to large enterprise accounts.
  • Experience driving adoption of usage-based subscription services and co-selling with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud teams.
  • Experience co-developing business cases and gaining support from C-level executives.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and processes such as territory and account planning, MEDDPICC, Challenger Sales, and Command of the Message.
