Description

  • Prospect and develop new business relationships within existing customer accounts and new prospects.
  • Use solutions-selling expertise to capture new business and grow the installed base.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend effective networking, management, and security solutions.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas and execute corporate sales initiatives.
  • Prepare business plans, forecasts, weekly commits, and pipeline reports.
  • Build strong relationships with channel partners and cross-functional teams across the territory.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective buyers.
  • Stay current on company offerings, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Make cold calls and outreach to prospects and existing customers.
  • Work with E-rate funding and the E-rate sales process.

Requirements

  • Experience as a self-starter with high energy, initiative, and the ability to work with limited direction.
  • Knowledge of SFDC and Clari.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to maintain high standards for self and team.
  • Relevant industry and competitive knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel weekly to meet customers and partners.
  • Proven hunter with a track record of developing new prospects and exceeding quotas.
  • Strong business planning and forecasting experience.
  • Strong competitive and product knowledge with the ability to articulate Extreme Networks' business value proposition.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional internal teams.
  • Knowledge of E-rate funding and the E-rate sales process (preferred).

  • Base salary range of $200,000 to $270,000 USD.
  • Eligible for commission on a 50/50 split.
