Description

  • Lead and manage a regional sales team of Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, and Systems Engineering counterparts.
  • Define key sales opportunities across the West region and develop territory plans and quota assignments.
  • Drive sales of Extreme's products, services, and solutions to enterprise customers.
  • Build, develop, and scale individual and team capability to support accelerated growth.
  • Create and manage a pipeline of opportunities using both tactical and strategic go-to-market approaches.
  • Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance.
  • Ensure the team sells based on customer value, features, and function.
  • Represent Extreme at customer forums and executive briefing visits.
  • Manage customer satisfaction and respond quickly and thoroughly to escalations.
  • Develop three-year, one-year, and quarterly plans while managing within budget.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree from a four-year college or university; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing regional sales teams focused on major accounts.
  • Strong background in a networking sales environment.
  • Strong background in SLED sales.
  • Ability to relate to all levels of management and employees with ease and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including delivery to executive audiences.
  • Business acumen needed to sell in the enterprise network space.
  • Experience with customer identification, business analysis, and research to uncover purchase motivators.
  • Ability to position technical solutions to solve business problems with quantifiable results.

  • Market-competitive base salary of $260,000 to $350,000 USD.
  • Eligible for commission on a 50/50 split.
