Description

  • Elicit and analyze requirements from business users, data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders.
  • Translate business questions into data analysis approaches.
  • Build complex SQL queries to answer business questions.
  • Design conceptual data models, entity relationship diagrams, and business process models.
  • Cleanse and transform data using R, SQL, or Python.
  • Interpret and communicate data insights to clients and diverse stakeholders.
  • Create and manage dashboards for recurring reports and ad hoc requests.
  • Document data-analysis processes, findings, and outcomes.
  • Build collaborative relationships with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Apply relevant industry or subject-matter expertise to client engagements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in IT or a related industry.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Understanding of relational databases, data architecture, and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience using data tools to help clients make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong analytical ability to structure complex or undefined business problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting findings to varied stakeholders.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with cloud analytics products such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure (preferred).
  • Knowledge of statistics, statistical analysis packages, and Agile principles (preferred).

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $98,000–$144,000 USD plus annual bonus eligibility.
