Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Coalesce.io, Airbyte, SQL Server/SSIS, and Azure Data Factory where needed.
  • Build and maintain dimensional data models that support high-quality analytics and reporting.
  • Implement and manage Medallion architecture in Snowflake across bronze, silver, and gold layers.
  • Ensure reliable ETL processes, data transformations, and data integration workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira for task tracking and GitHub for code management.
  • Improve data modeling practices and help address weaknesses in dimensional modeling.
  • Work on data products supporting learning management systems, student enrollment, and academic operations.
  • Collaborate across teams to solve data-related issues and support delivery in an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Coalesce.io, Airbyte, SQL Server/SSIS, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong understanding of Medallion architecture and dimensional data modeling.
  • Practical experience building ETL pipelines and transforming data for analytics.
  • Familiarity with Jira and GitHub for collaborative development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Minimum 4-hour overlap with US Eastern Time.
  • Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate English level.
  • Experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce data integration is preferred.
  • Background in higher education or ed-tech is a plus.
