Description

  • Develop robust data pipelines to support reporting, performance analysis, and billing reconciliation.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, validation, and cleansing across large financial and operational datasets.
  • Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure in cloud-based and modern data architecture environments.
  • Enable efficient data consumption and actionable reporting across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact data platforms.
  • Support modernization of legacy ETL and reporting solutions.
  • Implement secure handling of sensitive financial data and personally identifiable information (PII).
  • Work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments to turn data into actionable business value.

Requirements

  • Strong Python development skills.
  • Proficiency with AWS data and serverless services, including Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, and QuickSight.
  • Infrastructure-as-code experience, preferably with AWS CDK; CloudFormation or Terraform also relevant.
  • Unit testing and CI/CD pipeline experience, such as GitHub Actions or equivalent.
  • Experience with SQL Server, including queries, SSIS, SSRS, and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of APIs and their integration.
  • Understanding of SDLC, testing, deployment, and version-control best practices.
  • Experience ensuring secure handling of sensitive financial data and PII.
  • Proficiency in data validation and data cleansing practices.
  • Experience with project management or tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is highly preferred.
  • AWS certification at the Cloud Practitioner or Associate level is highly preferred.
  • Experience with core banking systems and financial transaction processing is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with policy-administration platforms such as Sapiens CoreSuite and/or actuarial or valuation data flows is highly preferred.
