Description

  • Analyze legacy system data structures and perform data profiling to identify quality issues, gaps, and transformation needs.
  • Lead client working sessions and workshops to gather requirements, review mappings, and resolve data decisions.
  • Explain data structures, transformation logic, and migration outcomes to customers in a clear, actionable way.
  • Develop and maintain source-to-target mapping specifications aligned to Accela data models such as records, contacts, parcels, and ASI.
  • Design and execute ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into the Accela Civic Platform.
  • Perform data cleansing, normalization, and enrichment to improve consistency and accuracy before migration.
  • Execute mock conversions and support iterative migration cycles, including testing, validation, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and run validation and reconciliation processes to confirm completeness, accuracy, and integrity of migrated data.
  • Troubleshoot data issues with functional consultants and client stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support UAT, go-live cutover activities, final data loads, post-migration validation, and documentation of migration processes and lessons learned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data migration, data conversion, or ETL-related roles in enterprise software implementations.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
  • Hands-on experience with data mapping, transformation, and validation processes.
  • Experience designing and executing ETL workflows for large datasets.
  • Experience leading client-facing discussions, workshops, or working sessions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical data concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to analyze complex data structures and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong experience with data validation and reconciliation techniques to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving data quality issues.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, developers, and client stakeholders.
  • Experience with SaaS or enterprise application implementations, with government/public sector experience preferred.
  • Willingness to adopt and leverage AI-assisted tools, automation, or modern data technologies to improve delivery efficiency and scalability.
