Description

  • Own full-cycle recruiting end to end, including sourcing, pipeline development, structured assessments, offer construction, and closing candidates.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines for senior and specialist roles in scarce talent markets.
  • Design and improve structured hiring processes with consistent criteria, interview panels, and assessments that evaluate role fit and cultural fit.
  • Coach hiring managers to interview effectively, give calibrated feedback, and make timely hiring decisions.
  • Build and maintain high talent density by tracking performance, identifying growth needs, and addressing underperformance with managers.
  • Train managers to deliver specific, timely, and useful feedback and performance conversations.
  • Connect talent insights to headcount planning, learning and development investment, and role design.
  • Own cultural onboarding and help reinforce organizational values throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Source and manage a PEO or EOR for employment contracts, payroll administration, and benefits across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Design compensation, onboarding, performance, compliance, and people analytics systems that support a fast-scaling distributed organization.
  • Advise leadership early on hiring, team structure, promotions, restructures, and sensitive personnel issues.
  • Use data, technology, and AI to strengthen people operations and improve decision-making.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, people operations, or talent roles, with experience building systems rather than only inheriting them.
  • Demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing and closing senior hires in competitive or thin-talent markets.
  • Strong analytical instincts, with the ability to build tools and analyze data directly without relying on a dedicated analyst.
  • Experience working in or across low- and middle-income country contexts.
  • Understanding of distributed workforce dynamics, labor law variability, compensation equity across geographies, and culturally nuanced feedback and performance conversations.
  • A track record of credibility with senior leaders and the ability to push back when needed on hiring or people decisions.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, fast iteration, initiative, and maintaining focus on impact in a scaling organization.
  • Curiosity and creativity with AI tools, including a testing mindset and eagerness to experiment with emerging technologies.
  • Experience with coding or data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Ability to balance high emotional intelligence, rigor, throughput, humility, and collaboration.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; the role is fully remote anywhere in the United States and requires approximately 10% travel.
  • Willingness to work under a role level that may be Senior Manager, Associate Director, or Director depending on experience and fit.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $110,000 to $155,000 per year.
  • Fully remote role available anywhere in the United States.
  • Approximately 10% travel to partner countries.
  • Comprehensive benefits for U.S.-based roles, including international health care.
  • HSA/FSA options, life insurance, and disability coverage.
  • Retirement plans with a matching component.
  • Generous and flexible leave options.
  • Additional employee perks available on a reimbursement basis.
