Description

  • Serve as the executive sponsor and senior strategic advisor to the firm’s highest-value clients.
  • Own portfolio-wide retention outcomes, including at-risk accounts, CSAT, and NPS performance.
  • Build, lead, and scale the Client Success organization, including managers and individual contributors.
  • Set hiring, performance, accountability, culture, and communication standards across the CS function.
  • Design client communication, QBR, account review, and escalation protocols.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to drive upsell and cross-sell across SEO, paid media, content, and website services.
  • Own quarterly expansion targets and build playbooks that turn Client Success into a revenue engine.
  • Audit and rebuild client success infrastructure, including CRM, onboarding, reporting, ticketing, and SLAs.
  • Design and roll out a scalable operating model with clear cadence, scorecards, and leadership reporting.
  • Partner cross-functionally with SEO, Paid Media, Sales, and Product to resolve systemic client issues.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of client-facing experience at a digital marketing or professional services agency.
  • 5+ years leading managers, not just individual contributors, in a Client Success, Account Management, or services function.
  • Proven experience building or rebuilding a Client Success organization at meaningful scale.
  • Hands-on experience designing Client Success systems, including CRM configuration, onboarding workflows, reporting frameworks, and SLAs.
  • Comfort presenting to executive leadership, board members, and private equity investors.
  • Experience in regulated or high-touch B2B verticals such as legal, financial advisory, medical, or dental is strongly preferred.
  • Direct legal marketing experience is a major plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent operating experience.
  • Ability to work in a remote-first environment with quarterly in-person gatherings.
  • Willingness to travel 15–20% for client QBRs, leadership offsites, and team gatherings.
