Description

  • Build relationships with enterprise customers by presenting, demonstrating, and supporting Esri software and solutions as part of the account team.
  • Lead technical meetings with enterprise-level decision makers to help drive revenue.
  • Serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert in Esri technology, AEC, and environmental consulting.
  • Develop complex solution strategies aligned to customers’ business needs and workflows.
  • Understand customer business structure, third-party systems, and integration points to shape solutions.
  • Proactively propose GIS-based solutions that address customer challenges and business value.
  • Design presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide configuration guidance and best practices to customers and internal teams.
  • Present at large conferences and executive engagements.
  • Coach new team members on technical best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
  • 3+ years of experience in AEC, environmental consulting, or related industries.
  • Broad knowledge of ArcGIS from an IT context, including hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design.
  • Understanding of sales and business development processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri application deployment and system architecture.
  • Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Experience integrating software solutions with data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms.
  • Programming and scripting experience with Python and JavaScript.
  • Remarkable presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Preferred: experience incorporating real-time information streams with existing GIS data and IT infrastructure.
  • Preferred: knowledge of digitalization strategies including mobile, IoT, advanced analytics and data science (AI/ML), and imagery.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.
  • Preferred: experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms, or equivalent.
  • Preferred: experience with Autodesk software.
  • Preferred: strong understanding of 3D geospatial problems.
  • Preferred: working knowledge of the AEC and commercial industries at the business and strategy level.
