Description

  • Own a defined territory and build pipeline through outbound outreach across email, phone, and social channels.
  • Qualify opportunities using structured discovery methods such as MEDDPICC to focus on high-confidence deals.
  • Deliver tailored narratives and live demos that connect Elastic’s Search, Observability, and Security offerings to business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with customers to build close plans and maintain accurate CRM data and forecast reporting.
  • Lead contract and pricing negotiations to secure multi-year consumption commitments.
  • Position Elastic as the preferred Search AI platform by discussing cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architectures.
  • Partner with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate deals and improve customer outcomes.
  • Increase Elastic’s footprint within existing accounts and help drive revenue growth in the Enterprise segment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying SaaS account management experience with a track record of increasing customer value.
  • Consistent success overachieving targets in a consumption-based or usage-model environment.
  • Experience applying MEDDPICC or a similar qualification framework.
  • Ability to deliver executive-level presentations and product demos tied to business value.
  • History of closing multi-year, high-ACV contracts while protecting margin and gaining executive buy-in.
  • Comfort discussing observability, security, vector and traditional search, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Collaborative, coachable, and effective at working with cross-functional internal teams.
  • Genuine interest in open-source communities and the Elastic model.
  • Prior experience at an open-source or developer-centric infrastructure company is a plus.
  • Familiarity with observability use cases such as logs, metrics, and traces, or security analytics such as SIEM/XDR is a plus.
